Terms & Conditions
Basic Requirements
Dogs must be provided with collars, harnesses & leads. Identity tags with correct contact information must be on the dog at all times. I (Harriet) am not responsible if tags are lost whilst on a walk. Please provide a towel for the use of drying your dog when brought home.
Cancellations
Dog walks/ Pet visits
A booked service may be cancelled, providing a minimum of 48 hours notice is given there will be no charge. If 48 hours notice is not given the full amount of the service will be charged.
Pet sitting (overnight stays)
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
A booked service may be cancelled, providing a minimum of 4 weeks notice is given there will be no additional charge. If 4 weeks notice is not given the following charges will apply;
More than 4 weeks – No additional charge
Less than 4 weeks – 50% of booked service
Less than 1 week – 100% of booked service
Holiday
Holiday year runs from 1st April – 31st March. I (Harriet) will take a maximum 4 weeks per year plus bank holidays (28 days total). I will give a minimum of 4 weeks notice for planned holiday.
It is anticipated that regular customers (set days every week) will take up to 4 weeks per year plus bank holidays. Any additional time off from regular bookings will incur a 50% retainer fee. Please ensure a minimum of 2 weeks notice is given to myself if you are taking a holiday and therefore will not require my services.
Notice
If you wish to reduce a regular booking or leave Harriet’s Pet Group for any reason, I kindly ask that you provide me with 4 weeks notice. Charges will apply for anything less than 4 weeks.
Liability
I (Harriet) will maintain liability insurance at all times. I am not responsible for any harm caused by your pet(s) whilst in my care. You agree to be liable if your pet(s) harms another animal or person. I shall not be held liable for damage or loss within the property.
Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, I (Harriet) agree to notify you on the phone number you have provided as soon as possible. If you cannot be reached I will take the necessary actions required i.e. taking your pet(s) to the vet.
Payment Terms
Invoices are generated once a month on the 1st of every month for any services received in the month prior. Invoices are sent via email and require BACS transfer within 7 days of receipt. Late payments will incur a £5 penalty charge added to the next invoice.
Prices
Please be aware the prices shown below are subject to change, a minimum of one month’s notice will be given should the price of my services change. If a service is required on a Sunday or a bank holiday, it will be charged at an extra 50%.
